Top 3 Tools for Cellular Detox
Jan 27, 2025As you move forward, I want to make sure you don’t fall into a common trap—the risk of stagnation. If your drainage pathways aren’t fully cleared, toxins and waste can accumulate, slowing down your healing process. The deeper we go into peeling the onion and uncovering root causes, the more likely it is for pathways to become stagnant again.
Most people experience stagnation in the same pathways that were previously sluggish. For example, if you were prone to constipation before, you might feel more constipated during detox. Or if you dealt with water retention, you may notice increased swelling or inflammation while detoxing.
This isn’t a setback—it’s simply a signal from your body, highlighting where extra support is needed, especially when clearing out pathogens or toxins.
If you need guidance on how to support these drainage pathways effectively, I break down my step-by-step protocols for each pathway inside Root Cause Detox.
If drainage is stagnant and you are pushing kill protocols (such as the parasite cleanses, SIBO protocols, Candidaprotocols, Lyme protocols, etc.) or binders to address environmental toxins (such as heavy metals, mold, etc.), you can cause more harm. These factors can become mobilized and get stuck, leading to spillage into drainage pathways, further stagnation, and even cellular damage.
If I had to recommend three tools that work at the cellular level, supporting all of your drainage pathways simultaneosly, they would be:
🔥 A sauna: Use this 4 times a week for a minimum of 30 minutes. Any sauna will work, but I personally use Therasage. If you want to get this one, you can save with my discount code PAOLA. To enhance your detox process, consider supplementing with a binder like Biotoxin Binder by Cellcore before and after using the sauna. I like to take one capsule before and after the sauna. If you're more sensitive, you can start with half a capsule before and after.
❤️ A red light device: Use this daily or every other day for 20 minutes on the affected area. Red light therapy helps reduce inflammation and pain while promoting healing and regeneration. I personally have Firestorm by EMR-TEK, and you can use my discount code PAOLA if you’d like to get one. Alternatively, you can expose your skin to morning or sunset light for a free option. However, this may not be feasible for those living in high latitudes during winter.
đź’ˇMinimizing exposure to artificial light: Artificial light is toxic and dysregulates our physiology. An affordable way to reduce exposure is by swapping your home’s light bulbs for ones void of blue light or that emit warmer tones. I recommend EMR-TEK bulbs and Edison-style Incandescent bulbs. These are excellent options for reducing blue light exposure, especially in the evening when your body needs darkness to produce maximum melatonin.
Remember, small changes add up over time, even if the progress isn't obvious just yet.
