Yesterday was the last day of my drainage protocol. I wanted to share my experience and what I did to support drainage on all levels.

The drainage protocol helps your liver, gallbladder, and colon function optimally. Your liver is your primary detoxifying organ. It converts toxins into harmless substances that the body can remove through the colon, kidneys, and skin. When it comes to detoxing the body, drainage is non-negotiable. It ensures that all the pathways through which the toxins and pathogens leave your body are open. Whatever your objectives are, you should always support drainage first before working on specific toxins and pathogens. I recommend supporting drainage for at least 30 days before you start detoxing.

Some people may require more kidney support, while others may require more liver support, and so on. This is highly individualized, hence drainage should be supported during detox also.

As I went through the drainage phase, I noticed three major benefits:

  1. I felt calmer and more at ease. I felt like my body and mind were no longer in a fight-or-flight state. When you are in a fight-or-flight state you may experience poor digestion, faster/shallow breathing, faster heart rate, mood swings, low immunity, frequent infections, depression, anxiety, etc.
  2. My digestion improved tremendously. I experienced no gas, bloating, or discomfort. I strongly believe Advanced TUDCA played a major role.
  3. No brain fog. I started thinking more clearly, and my memory was sharp. This seems to have helped my ADD as well.

I advise my clients to pay attention to their sleep, energy levels, digestion, and mental clarity during the drainage phase. They are ready to begin detoxing if they experience improvements in these four categories.

This is what the drainage protocol looked like for me in terms of supplements:

  • Phase 1 of Cellcore's Comprehensive Protocol: Energy & Drainage (Patient Direct Code: FRtTCWs0 to save 15%). You can learn more about general dosages in my article Detoxing For Chronic Illness
  • Two scoops of grass-fed collagen in my coffee, hot cacao, or soups. Collagen provides all the amino acids needed for liver detox Phase 1 and 2.
  • One scoop of grass-fed beef liver powder in a warm glass of water with a pinch of salt (if you cannot tolerate the taste, you can take beef liver capsules instead). Beef liver contains all the vitamins and minerals required for Phases 1 and 2 of liver detoxification. prefer this over a multivitamin.
  • Half a teaspoon of Acerola powder in water to reduce oxidative stress and inflammation. Acerola powder is an antioxidant powerhouse.

The drainage phase may look different for each person, but it is critical to minimize inflammation as much as possible since toxins and pathogens that have been hidden for too long may emerge.

In addition to the supplements, I used the following tools:

  • I invested in a portable infrared sauna and used it for 30 minutes four times a week. This will be a great addition to your detox journey if you have difficulties sweating. Sweating removes pesticides, plastics (BPA), mold toxins, and heavy metals.
  • I used a brush, and dry brushed for 5-10 minutes each day before showering. Dry brushing is beneficial to the lymphatic system. Your lymphatic system, unlike your cardiovascular system, does not have a pump. The lymphatic system can only move and drain if you massage and move your body.
  • I used a castor oil pack three times a week over my liver and the abdominal area.

Successful detox protocols are comprehensive. One supplement alone will not get you to the root cause, but the right diet modifications, lifestyle changes, and supplements will give you the support you need to rebalance your body. Happy Detoxing!
