Two Proven Natural Remedies for Allergies

 As allergy season sweeps in, I find myself particularly empathetic towards family members that grapple with seasonal allergies. Witnessing their struggles has inspired me to seek out effective remedies to ease their discomfort, and I'm thrilled to share two proven natural solutions with you.

Firstly, let's talk about the importance of methylation support during allergy season. While I'm fortunate not to experience seasonal allergies myself, I've learned that individuals with MTHFR mutations face added challenges. To bolster methylation, it's vital to ramp up your intake of folate (opt for the natural form, not folic acid), choline, and key vitamins such as B2, B6, and B12. Choline, abundant in eggs, takes on even greater significance for those with PEMT mutations. A supplement like MethylGuard Plus provides these nutrients. 

Another remarkable remedy is good quality black seed oil, particularly effective when initiated preemptively, ideally two weeks before allergy season hits full force. About 2 grams/daily over 4-12 weeks can be the sweet spot for many. Moreover, it's deemed possibly safe to take higher doses: up to 5 grams daily for 12 weeks. Personally, I take 5 grams/day.
