Why You Should Parasite Cleanse and Where to Start

Parasite cleansing is one of the most powerful tools to restore your health. It isn’t the be-all and end-all because chronically ill people often have numerous issues at once, but it is the first step toward balancing your internal environment and allowing true healing to occur.

I was first introduced to parasite cleansing two years ago. At the time, I was researching ways to get to the root causes of my stubborn symptoms that my allopathic doctors had repeatedly dismissed because my tests were normal. I was dealing with extreme bloating, constipation, GI discomfort, exhaustion, brain fog, and anxiety. During my research, I came across folks that claimed that parasite cleansing helped them with identical problems. I read multiple studies that demonstrated how parasites can infect virtually any organ of the body and cause havoc for years without being discovered. I thought to myself, I have nothing to lose. 

I opened my toolbox and applied all of my knowledge and skills in herbalism, naturopathic medicine, and lifestyle medicine to create a robust drainage and detox protocol (I had no idea Cellcore existed at that time!!! – it would have been way easier). I followed the protocol for 6 weeks. My energy levels were greatly improved by the third week. I felt calmer. I was sleeping soundly and not waking up during the night. My digestion began to improve. I was tolerating foods I couldn’t before. 

How come there aren’t more people talking about this? I wondered. How come when you mention parasites to allopathic doctors, they disregard it completely? My doctor would say, “parasitic diseases occur only in poor and undeveloped countries.” WRONG!!!

Since then I’ve worked with clients from Europe, Canada, Australia, Asia and the US. They ALL have passed a variety of parasites in their stool during the cleanse. Even after being on the cleanse for 6+ months, some of them continue to purge parasites. There’s nothing more satisfying than having the proof in front of you. This is something that no doctor or test can deny! But, why is this a problem in developed countries as well? 

Parasites are part of our microbiome, and we are constantly exposed to them through the water we drink, the foods we eat, the air we breathe (yes, the air we breathe!), our surroundings, and so on. There is nothing wrong with having parasites! We are meant to live in harmony with bacteria, yeasts, and parasites. We start having problems when there’s an overgrowth of these organisms. The immune system is no longer doing its job, which allows these pathogens to gain the upper hand. Why this is the case is a subject for another day.

Parasites carry 6-8x their weight in other toxins, infections, and viruses. By reducing your parasitic load, you reduce your overall toxic load. You give your body a chance to breathe and become less inflamed. You give the immune system the upper hand and allow it to begin working properly.
